October – We have a Harvest Moon celebration.  At this event, we meet at a predetermined location.  Every year it is different.  The children all wear Halloween costumes and members bring a dish to share.  We provide drinks and every child goes home with a pumpkin.  Crafts are the only organized activity.  We meet at a park or location that specializes in Halloween fun.

November – We have a Parent’s Meeting.  Every year the topic for the meeting is different.  We have had speakers talk about adoption issues, Korean culture, parenting issues, diversity, and self esteem issues.  We rent a clubhouse for this event and everyone brings a dish to share.

We have weekly play groups.  The location is different every week.  We meet at someone’s home or a park.

We have monthly “Mom’s Night Out”.  We meet at a restaurant and just socialize with other moms in our group.
