KFC Happenings

Hi Everyone,

Happy Spring!

We would like to welcome new members George, Sandy and son Brent to
KFC. They are waiting for a referral from Korea. We hope your
process is fast, smooth and stress free!! (Is that possible?) We
look forward to meeting you and hope you find support and friendship
within our group.

Thanks to Mike and Ann Busemeyer for organizing our Couples Night out
for next weekend, April 25. We look forward to sharing an evening
with you. Thanks to Vicki and Scott Arand who organized the baseball
outing for June 17. We look forward to spending time at the Great
American ballpark with our KFC friends. Go Reds!

June is a busy month for the Souders family. Unfortunately, we will
not be holding our annual Ice Cream Social in June. If there is any
family who would like to host and organize this event, please let us
know. We are happy to pass on all the necessary information to get
things started. If no one can host it, we may hold it in Sept. (?)

After many years as our KFC treasurer, Julie Childers has decided to
step down. We thank Julie for all her years of dedication and all
the hours she put forth for our group. You did an awesome job!!
Thank you so much! We are happy to report that Kathy Jose has agreed
to take over this position. Thanks, Kathy for your willingness to
become our new treasurer. Kathy previously held the position as
secretary for our KFC board. Theresa Kroeger has offered to take over
as secretary. Thanks Theresa! At present, we have all our positions
filled. If you want to get more involved, there is always help
needed at all of our events. Please send us an email if you want to
volunteer.

Our annual KFC Children's Day picnic will be held on May 17, 2008.
We will be at the same location, Harbin Park in Fairfield. Like last
year, we will share this day with our friends from the Korean Baptist
church and the Korean American Association.
